About Us

We are a family run business centered on a father & son LLC partnership. Caleb's woodworking skills along with my background in construction are the foundation of Woodscape Designs - a blend of creative energy and seasoned experience. Mom offers a woman's perspective in the design process and Kate takes care of photography and marketing. The four of us along with other family members spent 10 years in Lancaster County, PA - one of the most concentrated regions of skilled woodworkers in the country. There, living among and working with Amish and Mennonite craftsmen, we learned how to make cabinets and furniture. We brought those skills with us when we moved to Oregon in 2008. Caleb, 8 years old at the time, spent the next 10 years trying out a variety of occupations including lawn care, farming and construction. In 2019 he became a licensed contractor and formed an "unofficial" partnership with me called C&N Construction. But, It was cabinetry rather than construction that soon became the focus of our attention and we spent the next 5 years establishing a niche in that field. Finally, this year (2024) we made things official by forming an LLC partnership called Woodscape Designs.

Our Vision

Our vision is to meet and even surpass the standards of high end woodworking while maintaining a close relationship with our clients and their expectations. To accomplish this we work very closely with our customers. For some it means involving them in every step of the process – taking their concepts carefully thru the design stage on to actualization in the finished product. For others it means we take a more active role in the creative process. How we work with our customers is as “custom” as the work itself!
